Job Overview:

The SEO Specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing effective SEO strategies to increase organic search rankings, optimize website performance, and drive traffic. The ideal candidate must have prior experience in the education sector and a deep understanding of SEO best practices, keyword research, and content optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute on-page and off-page SEO strategies to improve search engine rankings.
• Conduct comprehensive keyword research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities.
• Optimize website content, meta tags, URLs, and internal linking structures for improved search visibility.
• Perform technical SEO audits and resolve issues related to site speed, crawlability, and indexation.
• Monitor and analyze website performance using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Screaming Frog.
• Collaborate with the content team to develop SEO-optimized blog posts, landing pages, and web content.
• Develop and implement link-building strategies to improve domain authority.
• Stay updated with the latest Google algorithm updates and SEO trends.
• Implement local SEO strategies for optimizing Google My Business (GMB) and local listings.
• Track, report, and analyze SEO performance metrics and provide actionable insights.
• Work with web developers to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented on newly developed code.

• Minimum 3-5 years of proven experience as an SEO Specialist, preferably in the education sector.
• Strong knowledge of SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Screaming Frog, etc.
• Experience with CMS platforms like WordPress, Shopify, or custom-built websites.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and technical SEO best practices.
• Expertise in content strategy, keyword planning, and SERP analysis.
• Understanding of Google Ads and PPC strategies is a plus.
• Ability to analyze data and provide insights to improve SEO strategies.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience in the education industry is preferred (schools, training institutes, universities, ed-tech platforms, etc.).
• Google Analytics or Google Ads certification.
• Experience in international SEO and multilingual optimization.
• Understanding of CRO (Conversion Rate Optimization).
