The Communication Center department is responsible and accountable for the logging of and correct, prompt and efficient handling of all guest messages and facsimiles.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• To ensure that all guest enquiries and requests are attended to in a helpful, professional yet warm and friendly manner.
• To ensure you have a complete and thorough knowledge of the outlets of the hotel, their operating hours and the scope of services that they provide.
• To be completely aware of the elevators, Fire and Emergency procedures of the hotel and your responsibilities in an emergency.


We are looking to appoint a Guest service officer – Communication Center for the stunning 5* Sofitel Dubai Downtown who thrives in a high pressured and rewarding team environment and is looking for a career with a hospitality leader.

Due to role requirements, the candidate must ideally have minimum of 1 year working experience in a 5 star hotel in guest service or customer care. We are looking for outgoing personality with ability to communicate fluently in English with guests and colleagues. The candidate must have enthusiasm about the role and be a great team player, highly organized and have a positive attitude. The candidate should also show flexibility to work weekends and long hours.
