Job Description :

Work with the project team to devise and implement strategies, policies and procedures for marketing & communications activities for the Exhibition Dept and its portfolio of exhibitions
Develop innovative marketing campaigns, tools and activities
Assist the project and project managers in pitching for corporate sponsors
Undertake the development and production of all marketing collateral in conjunction with Project Managers across range of regional and international exhibitions from the DWTC portfolio
Develop, co-ordinate and manage tactical marketing and PR campaigns to support the exhibitions strategies and achieve specific business objectives
Work with the project team to develop the shows through database building, research and enhanced exhibition offerings e.g. conference programmes, gala dinners, awards ceremony’s
Source, negotiate and manage external support agencies including printers, design, marketing, PR, photography and media
Develop and research new show ideas and markets
Research and develop dedicated Data management procedures for the whole department
Database management
Manage exhibition onsite activities including press conferences, press days and media centres
Ensure the identity guidelines are adhered to by internal departments and external agencies
Ensure all marketing collateral is professionally produced, of the highest quality and reflects exhibition and corporate guidelines
Ensure photographic library is updated and milestones events recorded by digital photography

Follow & implement the DWTC Policies & Procedures
Continually seek opportunities to develop self and if applicable subordinates
Implement duties in line with the Quality standards, Security, Health & Safety requirements
Implement any other duties as assigned by the Department Head

Desired Skills and Experience
Minimum 5 years experience in Marketing, preferably with marketing experience in the exhibitions organising industry
Wide exposure to marketing related practices and precedents
A marketing or business degree
In depth knowledge of business management and business practices. Ideally, a formal qualification in business/management studies.
