JOB PURPOSE
To enhance the supply planning operation (ordering, inventory management, and forecasts) & to support sales business plans, maximize customer satisfaction at optimum cost while maintaining targeted profitability on all food brands

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Description
Order Forecast Management
Ensure forecast is in line with previous 6 months history after adjusting the same for promotions, new initiatives, and seasonality and price changes to ensure stock target is not exceeded and is at its optimum levels.
Ensure monthly orders are in line with bogey stock target and are placed on time with suppliers to reach stock availability target.
Follow up on updating order status sheet to expedite late shipments and avoid Out Of Stocks.
Inventory Management
Analyze the root cause of OOS to reduce the same and ensure that customer orders are not affected.
Analyze reasons for excess stocks and communicate the same to CBD Managers in order to reduce the financial impact of stock holding on the company set targets.
Analyze remnant and slow moving stocks and initiate with CBD managers to liquidate the same
Analyze forecast variance exceeding 25% and share root causes with CBD managers and Logistics teams to improve forecast efficiency

Order processing Efficiency
Ensure that the most sufficient ordering / receiving procedures are followed to reduce generation time and maximize automation of order processing
Coordination with Stake holders
Plan the order size and process with the suppliers logistics teams to capitalize on new launches, promotions and initiatives
Coordination with MFT on a day to day basis to facilitate stock availability for deployment of monthly initiatives
Special Projects
Prepare warehouse capacity projections based on sales volume projections and recommend increases in storage capacity
Understand WMS functionalities and maximize its utilization
Analyze monthly scorecard and analyze same in order to benchmark various warehouse activities and recommend improvements in the same.
